Lots of changes...

So, I am probably premature in letting this info out on the web, but we have some exciting news to share...we're pregnant! I have contemplating saying "I or we" and have heard many people talk about their angst of the "we" but I have to include Gman somehow! He has the great job of taking care of me for the next 9 months! So, not much to share at this point other than things are progressing as they should. Our first Ultrasound is Nov. 1st, hopefully we'll hear a strong heartbeat!

flower or weed?

I wasn't sure if this was a flower or weed? So i left it.
turns out, it was a flower and quite the bloomer to boot! Lovin' watching all of the flowers come and go this spring and summer!

Shutter transformation! Below are some photos of the painting in progress!! I haven't taken photo of the house yet with camera, the bottom one is from the camera phone but it works! The toughest part of the job was the two-toned purple door! Now its a red and I think it looks great!

The kitchen re-model is finally done!! Here's a peek at some recent photos from this weekend. It looks so great, we couldn't be happier with the end results!

Even bought new plates for the glass cabinet - too bad you can't really see them!

We "made" this cart. Well, we had it from our old house, and the top was our sink, so we attached it to the cart and created a nifty "bar" for the kitchen, deck or anywhere - hence the wheels!!

This was a Shadow box we got as a gift for our wedding - but we created it into this with a whole on top to put wine corks in!



I had to throw this photo in - its our new curtains!! I looked pretty hard to find the "right" ones, and who knew, Target had them!

Kitchen Remodel is in effect!

I really mean - kitchen demo. We started small and ended up with a big project, but its gonna be so fantastic in the end! Lowe's demo'd the kitchen and install of cabinets. Our contractor Brett (with help from Jen and Gooch) did new electric work, sheetrocked and prepared for the new cabinets. Here are a few photos along the way..

So - we went all the way in and got real close & personal with our new house!

Yeah new drywall!! Look at that great electrical work! I ran those wires, yes I did!
